We use Border Collies to chase Canada Geese off of properties.
Our company uses ONLY Border Collies to chase the geese because they mimic the movement of the Arctic Fox, a natural predator of the Canada Goose. Even though most of the geese here are resident geese (they live here and don't migrate), and have never seen an Arctic Fox, it is inbred in them that it is a predator to be feared. No geese are EVER harmed! Our service is also recommended by the Humane Society and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Dept.

We are proud to say we are 19 years in business, since 1997!
What is your primary product or service?
We use Border Collies (dogs) to chase Canada Geese off of properties, usually twice daily. The dogs condition the geese to stay off of the property. Border Collies mimic the movement of the Arctic Fox, a natural predator of the Canada Goose. Even though most geese have never seen one it is inbred in them that it is a predator.
All services are provided daily by trained canine handlers who take the best care of their clients!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have always had many different breeds of dogs, and we learned about Border Collies working on farms and being used to move livestock. We were aware that they were being used to move the geese in other areas and decided to try it here in NJ! It works! And there is never harm to the geese- we would never do that!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our business ONLY uses Border Collies. They are the only breed that stalks the geese before chasing them.It is this movement that really puts the fear of a "predator" in the geese.
No geese are ever harmed, which is why it is the best way to discourage the geese away, the service is recommended by the Humane Society and the Dept of Fish & Wildlife.

We are in central & northern NJ and are open to expanding if there is enough demand in an area.
