Our family started our business as a small plumbing shop in Newark NJ in 1928.
What is your primary product or service?
Bornstein Sons offers the finest in Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, Generator and Home Automation installation, service, repair and maintenance in northern and north central NJ.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Bonnie Bornstein Fertel and Richard Fertel are owners of Bornstein Sons, Inc. Bonnie spent many a Saturday morning pretending to answer phones in the office as a young child. Richard joined the family business in 1974 and Bonnie's involvement grew over many years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We don't take our customers for granted and are not looking for a one-time call, but rather to establish a long-term relationship built on trust and satisfaction for all our customer's service and installation needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our office is located in Fairfield NJ, but it's where our customer's home or business is that matters. Give us a call or schedule service online and we're at your door!

Hours for service are 7:30am and our typical "last call" is scheduled for 4:30pm; however after hours service is available and priority service is provided to our Service Contract customers.
